A Shiver At Twilight by Erin Quinn

13157889

Carly is trying to find Jillian, who had had a crash. She locates Jillian's car and a woman inside, although the woman in the car is not Jillian. Carly is trying to reach the car and falls down an embankment.

She locates a house with lights on and knocks on the door. An older man answers, although he seems a little strange. There is a fire burning and with the weather turning snowy outside, it seems like a warm place. Carly needs to know if Jillian is here and hurt.

The fun starts here. There are strange things going on in this house. And when JD comes barreling through the door, the terror proceeds from there.

This was a short horror/romance read that was enjoyable. There was a least enough terror to keep you wanting to know the reasons behind it and just enough romance to fill that fantasy also.

While I am not a romance reader and usually shy away from the genre, this definitely had enough of a real story to keep me reading. And it helped me fulfill my goal of reading from the Kindle and reading some of the oldest books I have available to me.
