The Last Bridge by Teri Coyne

How intense this book is! Teri Coyne has written a book that is almost devastating to read, but you need to finish. Alexandra "Cat" is a beautiful young girl who experiences abuse by her father, and lack of compassion from her mother. The story starts where she is informed that her mother has committed suicide and we are learning the story from there.

This is a novel that you will need to have the temerity to want to finish. Pretty hard to read about the abuse of this child and not want the author to make someone pay for all of the heart-break and pain. Will not spill about how this ends, but the author sure did make you want to find out the finish.
