Great Philosophy

Corn Flakes with John Lennon by Robert Hilburn

This book was sent to me for review by Bestsellersworld.

Robert Hilburn grows up with a real passion for music and songwriting. Becomes a rock and roll reviewer for a newspaper. Has the opportunity to meet a lot of really heavy hitters in the music world including John Lennon, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Elvis, Elton John, Kurt Cobain and others.

The book was interesting, but Mr. Hilburn definitely has his favorites, all of which are great musicians and songwriters, but he has infinitely left out some other great artists from this book. He is entitled to write about his favorites, but I think that he could have included some of the other artists that "he" maybe didn't think were the best.

Interesting, with some great stories about some really good artists, but found that it really didn't include enough about music and what it means to others.
