Weekend with my little girl

So looking forward to the weekend with Victoria. Just a chance for grandma and "Little Girl" to spend some wonderful time together in a home setting. She means the absolute world to me and don't get to spend as much time with her as I would like. Just having a chance to let her run around the back yard, maybe visit with great grandma's, etc.

Finished The Circus Fire

Finished The Circus Fire last night. Great writing by Stewart O'Nan. Guess I am a little disappointed that we don't find out who "Little Miss 1656" was, but really felt the anguish of people that were involved in this horrendous accident.
Am now going to start a book of short stories by Bret Lott entitled The Difference Between Women and Men. Sounds like there will be some good stories to read here. Will definitely let you know.

The Circus Fire by Stewart O'Nan

This book is so interesting so far. Really draws you into the moment. At this point, people are just starting to watch the show. Such anticipation about this, as you know the history. Very compelling writing by the author and drags you right into the book.

Can't seem to find anything good to read

Haven't read anything real good lately. Really have to find the time to sit and read for a change. So much has been going on lately that there doesn't seem to be any time to have to myself.
The last book that I read was a Y/A book named ...Ordinary Farm and was OK. Just didn't really have a great plot and was definitely written for younger readers. Have been trading a lot and receiving a lot of really good books, but haven't found one recently that makes me want to just sit down and concentrate on it alone.
